We had a great week in all the classes. Of course the students appreciated having no homework for Chanukah.

 

In 8B we continued solving equations by graphing including an emphasis on transforming equations into y=mx b format. We intend to have a quiz next Wednessday on all forms of solving simultaneous equations.

 

In 8G- we continues solving one-stpe equations. We plan to wrap that up on Monday adn review for a quiz scheduled for Wednessday. Then we are on to two-step equations.

 

In 7G- we honed our skills with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions.Quiz  next week- date to be announced on Monday.

 

In 6B- One group worked on mastering division of fractiosn while the other finished up addition and subtraction of fractions and is now workong on subtraction with borrowing.

 

Both groups have quizzes scheduled for Wednessday next week
